Salford Business Awards

We're delighted to announce our success in the first ever Salford Business Awards. At a spectacular gala dinner in April 2008, we were presented with the hotly contested and prestigious EXCELLENCE AWARD.

The Awards provide the recognition that Salford's businesses deserve and reflect the City's strong traditions and history of innovation and success. We are particularly proud as this Award was by far the category which received the highest amount of entries from the local business community.

Held in conjunction with local organisations such as Salford City Council and The University of Salford, the presentation ceremony took place at the Lowry Centre where we beat off strong competition from our co-finalist, a most celebrated and high-status business. In fact, on opening the ubiquitous magenta envelope the presenter of the Award commented:- "Oh, I didn’t think anyone could be more excellent than the Lowry Hotel" – but the judges think we are!!
