Given the current climate and so many redundancies the recruitment cycle seems to have come to an almost complete stop. However, we are finding the public sector is not as affected and the majority of our work is now within our local councils and national health sectors.
The growing majority of these vacancies DO require a CRB check, as many involve contact of some kind with vulnerable adults or children. This is not necessarily face-to-face contact but merely handling files and controlling sensitive information makes a CRB disclosure a necessary requirement.
