Our client in the motor industry is looking for a Service Advisor to join their busy team. Previous experience within the motor industry is essential.

The role will involve responsibility for passing on maintenance recommendations and repairs relating to customer vehicles. The Service Advisor works in a liaison role between the customer and the automotive technicians and mechanics, so a good understanding of the industry is crucial.

The Advisor is responsible for scheduling maintenance appointments, resolving customer complaints and answering enquiries. To provide a complete and accurate estimate cost to customer and to advise the customer of any future repair and/or maintenance work that may be necessary.

skills required

Prior experience in a similar role within the motor industry is essential. A good educational background and sound IT skills are desirable. Good written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer service ethos are a distinct advantage.
