Our client in the Public Sector seeks an experienced Administration Assistant for an interesting department role until the end of March. To carry out a range of technical administrative and function related duties such as finance etc for the department with limited supervision, which may involve written, telephone or face to face contact with the public or internal colleagues and the application of organisational procedures and systems.

The applicant will be expected to have good organisational skills and be able to use IT effectively in implementing tasks.

skills required

You will have good team working skills and the ability to work to deadlines. Sound verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is experience in dealing with customers.

You will have prior experience of working in an admin office undertaking technical admin duties such as writing bespoke letters, account maintenance and reconciliation, processing payroll payments etc.

Experience of software packages, in particular Microsoft Office is essential, as is an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure, which we will apply for on your behalf.
