The setting may have changed but the commitment and passion have always remained.

Linda launched the company as a sole trader in 1987. A secretarial temp and on-site software trainer by day, she ran her new recruitment business in the kitchen at home; needless to say, not all of the dishes got done all of the time.

Linda quickly established herself as a recruitment consultant with a difference: someone who was dedicated to her work and always delivered, even at short notice. As word spread, the business grew. In 1993, Linda moved into high street offices in Swinton to accommodate her growing team. At the same time, her daughter Kate - now Managing Director - joined straight from college to begin her training as a recruitment consultant.

And, by 2001 it was time to move again; larger premises in Swinton and, a year later, a new branch in Bolton.

Today, now simply called Linda Taylors, the company has 15 staff, two branches and four divisions:

As the business has grown both Linda and Kate have paid special attention to ensuring that new members of the team really understand what matters to the company and their customers.

Right from the start Linda stood out because she was honest, committed and passionate.
